The back of Vikingsholm from the courtyard. The guide said flash was not allowed in the main residence, and rather than tempt fate, I did not photograph any of the rooms of the main house. The items in the house, if they were not original, are close approximations of the original items. A four-legged piano in the living room area, once tuned by Liberace, is still there. Evidently Lora Knight’s (the original owner) heirs took quite a few items before the residence became part of the California state park system.
